Custom H&R M12 Stock

I'm thinking about putting a "custom" stock on an H&R M12. Has anyone had any particular success with any of the vendors offering stocks for this rifle?

  No ... but haven't looked either.
  
  You might check out Richards ( http://rifle-stocks.com )for a good selection and price but I think you would have to get a stock that hasn't been inletted and do it yourself ... the H&R M-12 isn't all that popular that anyone would be likely to carry an inventory of them.
  
  You might also think about improving the original stock too ... if its like mine it has lots of "meat" on it that could be trimmed, slimmed and lightened.

  Thanks. I looked at Richards - they have some really neat stuff. I sent them a note about inletting for an M12, but haven't heard from them yet. I've thought about "adjusting" the factory stock, but I think I'll set it aside if I can get a nice thumb-hole stock that fits.
