Para Ord Warthog
Anyone have any experience with one of these. I have a chance to buy a used one for a pretty good price, it sure felt good in my hands.

It is a very well made gun with plenty of firepower. Ten rounds of .45 ACP is nothing to sneeze about. It is a bit heavy when loaded, but you can use the weight to help control the recoil which is normally hefty for a gun that size in that caliber. It is a 1911 and .45 ACP, that translates to good right there. A note to follow though is that feeding sometimes can be problematic the shorter the gun gets. Make sure you have "full power" recoil springs and you shouldn't have any problems. Enjoy it. [:D][:D][:D][8D][8D]

I've tried one (not extensively), and the most interesting thing for me was that the recoil wasn't nearly as bad as you might think it should be.
The big fat grip soaks a lot of it up. I've been told that (like all .45s) it won't cycle properly without a full grip, but I didn't have that problem with a mag full of hardball .45 ACP.
The guns amazing considering it holds more .45s than a stock 1911 at around half the size!0
