SKS Legal in MD?

Are there any restrictions on SKS's in Maryland such as grenade launders on m59/66 as they are restricted in California?

  No restrictions; same as most other rifles. (They are not considered "controlled weapons" like the AR-clones, AK's, etc.)

  The only regulation on SKS's in MD is that if it has a detachable magazine you are required to do pistol paperwork and go through the waiting period. SKS's with detachable mags are considered assault weapons and are named specifically.
