CZ Ringneck... HELP?

Hello,

Well, father's day is just around the corner and this year I would like to buy my father a side by side shotgun. I have looked at many side by sides and today, at my local favorite gun shop, the salesman showed me a CZ Ringneck side by side.

I don't know a thing about CZ, can anyone help?? Are they good shotguns (quality, reliability, etc.)? The balance, weight and craftmanship looked excellent on this piece. I have also checked out their website and have found nothing that scares me.

I am looking at the 20ga model in 26" barrel with a 2 3/4" or 3" chambering. My dad wants to use this as a quail / dove gun, and maybe a pheasant or too (one day).

Any advice you folks could give would be GREAT!!!

  Great looking little gun. I think they are pretty well made.

  I'm a big fan of CZ rifles, I think they make a very under-rated rifle. I was also excited about the new line of SxS shotguns. The shotguns are made by Huglu, and I asked a similiar question to yours about Huglu shotguns, and just about everyone told me to stay away. They all claimed that they looked better than they worked. The search feature doesn't work for me, but if you can get it to work, try searching threads about Huglu.
