shooting Clubs in San Antonio
I am going to be stationed at Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio for the summer months, and was wondering if anybody knows where there is an Isaac Walton league or a shooting range where I can learn to shoot skeet or sporting clays, which brings me to my 2nd question. I'm from Iowa, and pheasant hunt quite a bit, but I'm thinking I'm really going to have to improve my game to hunt with the 28 guage I just bought. Which would be better practice for pheasants, skeet or sporting clays?

san ant is the world headquarters for NSSA/NSCA. its westside outside 410 loop. try the san antonio gun club north eastside of town. there is a skeet range over at the lakland afb too. you will have no problem enjoying clays target games anywhere. there is even a public range on southside way south outside the loop. just open up the yellow pages and have fun! trap is what you want for pheasant. bring your 12ga!

And while you're there, do try and avoid public restrooms that are being used by Police officers[:D][:D][:D]
