FFL Holders Question
Our license expires May 1st and I have put in the application for the new one but havent gotton anything yet. What happens when May 1st hits and I still do not have my new license ?

BATFE Will send you a letter. Call them or email them in a week and ask about the status. I srill do not have mine from Feb.

There is a check off box on the last application I did last month, and on there it asks if you would like a letter from ATF allowing you to continue under the auspices of your old FFL # until the new one is issued; evidently they do that thing first before rechecking your application info so that you may legally continue business.

YOU HAVE A 45 DAY 'GRACE' PERIOD FROM YOUR EXPIRATION DATE. JUST ENCLOSE A LETTER STATING YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR RENEWAL. MOST VENDORS WILL ACCEPT THIS OR YOU CAN REQUEST A LETTER FROM THE ATF. 0
