223rem wis rates

hi guys

i have a win mod 70 heavy varmint. hs precision stock stainless bARREL

i have a win mod 70 coyote. boh are 223rem. are their twist rates

the same? or diff? if so what are they?

  I don't know for sure, but I don't see anyone else jumping on here so I'll give you my best guess. For both of these rifles your probably going to have a 1 in 9" or 1 in 10". More than likely it will be the 1 in 9". Larger calibers will usually have a 1-10 or 1-12. Hope this is helpful[:)]

  1:10 twist in the coyote, probably the same in the stealth. That will handle pills up to the 62-70gr range effectively.

  Since you apparently have the rifles in own your hands, why don't you measure the wis yourself with a cleaning rod?
