  It's not considered prudent to give unknown outsiders access to your harddrive to view photos. Certain knowledgeable but unscrupless folks have been known to use this method to gain access to personal data you have stored on your harddrive. That is why the image hosting sites exist. Your photos are stored on a server in cyberspace. Bad folks don't have direct access to your harddrive.

  I have a write-up of the photo posting procedure. If you would like it, send me an email, & I will send it to you as a Word attachment.
  
  Rather than posting "tests", you can use the "Preview" button to see how your photo will actually look. That way, you don't unnecessarily tie up bandwidth (& annoy other forum readers).
