Marlin T-900 triger system
I currently have 2 Marlin bolt action rifles. 22mag & 17HMR
My question is concerning marlin's new trigger. What is the diff between the orig and the new one. Is it recommended that I change to the new trigger and if so does marlin sell the trigger by itself and the cost. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff

First, the triggers & none of the parts are interchangable between the two. They have changed the way it attaches to the receiver. I purchased a new Marlin 17HM2 to match the 17HMR I have had for a couple of years. I found the T900 trigger to be the worst of any trigger I have ever encountered. Extremely heavy pull weight, long engagement travel & extremely long over travel. Bought the gun off of this sight from a dealer NIB. Had I been able to handle and try the trigger first I would not have purchased the Marlin. 0
