gun kote vs. armory kote etc

so i have had alot of work done on my 1911 the next thing i am thinking about getting done to it is having one of those teflon cotings aplied to the slide

anyone have experience with these? are they worth the money? which one is the best?

i like the wilson combat armor tuff finish cause you can get it in a number of differant colors (my 1911 is a dual tone, blues slide, stainless frame) and would like to keep the dual color scheme

  There aren't ANY bad finishes out there that I have seen, but, you have to look at the finish AND your gun together. Some finishes add thickness to the parts, while others bond at the molecular level & do not affect the thickness. If you increase the thickness of your slide with a teflon coating, obviously this will affect the surfaces that mate with the receiver; you certainly don't want a slide that won't fit back on the receiver.
  
  Read the specifications for any finish that you are considering, & talk to the folks who apply it to see what they suggest for your gun.

  the armor tuff finish from wilson combat states that it does not add any thickness and that is the one i am leaning to
