IOR Valdada Scope ?

Does any one have good or bad info on this scope or manufacture?

    I have the 6-24x50 30mm tube tactical with the MP8 reticle. The glass, at high noon with maximum mirage, and focused on a nail-head in a building at 200yds, resolves just a leeeeetle bit more mirage than the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 it was set next to. That is my oldest NXS and one I got on trade, so maybe next to one of my other NXS's it may not fair as well. I will say that I was both impressed and suprised at it's ability when set next to a scope I rely heavily on for it's optics and integrity. As long as you get it through a dealer who will go to bat for you if warranty becomes an issue, you should be happy. I have heard the horror stories of Val and his attitude, but when I have spoken to him on the phone, he was very nice. That of course goes without saying, I wasn't trying to return mine for repair, so I can offer no real experience with the warranty service. I like the product, when held in the hand and evaluated for adjustment integrity, the gears are STRONG and POSITIVE. The focus is not quite as fine in it's rotation, but precise enough to get highly contrasted sight picture regardless of feel or travel distance.

    I think with some time and service improvement in the states, they will remain a player in the tactical and LR scope market. The construction is "tank" like and the glass is none short of superb. If you are thinking about one, don't pass up a deal, they are nice glass. They also make a great tactical ring and base. I used one on crop permits all summer last year and lit a primer last friday night at 8:00 and could still make out the precise, laser etched reticle.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    Great optics, but not for a 50BMG rifle. I 'crashed' a 6-24X50 after 300 rounds on a 50BMG rifle (the reticle turned to the right about
    15 degrees). IOR replaced the scope.

    I am with JustC, I have the same set up. I love mine so much I dont like any of my other scopes anymore.

    just got an ior 2-12x32 35mm tube mp-8 lit ret very nice scope. very clear glass comes with rings. did alot of reasearch and every time it always came to ior being the best for what i wanted in a scope. the people at USAOPTICS.NET were the most helpful and the nicest of any company i talked to. most dont have them in stock, usaoptics does and will match price of others that dont even have them in stock. the mp-8 retical is better than standard mil-dot and only ior has it.

    Got the 4x on sale for $225. weighs 5 0z more than a Leupold, has a bit less eye relief than I would like, but adequate. Have not been able to get it to range yet. It appears to be a good scope, but is not going to replace every thing else on my rifles, but what do I know I have old Weavers on some of them.

    , WHO I BELIEVE IS WELL QUALIFIED TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, PERSONALLY I THINK THEY MAKE THE BEST SCOPES WHEN VIEWING THEM FROM SUM OF ALL PERSPECTIVES.
