Marlin Collection info needed

There is a Marlin collection on www.marlinowners.com listed in the Marlin Collectors forum section, under the title of "A Tough Decision" that has prices of the lever action rifles. Do you think he is unreasonable for the engraved 336ADL rifles? I am not familiar with them, is why I ask. Thanks!

There aren't a lot of Marlin collectors out there. And, most of them are looking for classic (read: older) guns. I can't imagine there is much of a market for modern Marlins, other than as shooters. If you see something you like, go for it; just don't expect to be able to sell it for more than you paid, or even what you paid.

from looking over his list most of his other guns are priced at market value and from what I know about Marlinman,(nothing personal just reading his posts over a couple of years ) I think he knows his business .. whether the engraved Marlin is worth what he wants , that is hard to say for sure but only you can make that decision on whether its worth it to you [:D] good luck on making your decision

Yes, they are. I see that the website has been expanded to close up pictures. WOW! Nice engraved rifles...
