Year of Manufacture of a Marlin *****************
A friend (good friend) just gave me a Marlin .22 lever gun. It is a called a "Golden 39 - A Mountie." The serial number that I can see is T 173xx and I am not totally sure of the 1 because it has been kind of warn away by the lever coming in contact with it.
