Cleaning the cycliders on singlesix Ruger
My twenty two mag cyclinder has a problem with two of its ports. When removing spent shells two ports need alot more effort to push them out of the cyclinder. I've used a wire brush on a cordless drill motor to scrub all the ports in the cyclinder.Another problem is that if I sight in my single six new model using 22 lr ammo, when I switch to 22 mag ammo I shoot to the right of the bulls eye, two inch high two inches low. I have not tried sighting in with twenty two mag ammo then switching two twenty two lr. I've only used C.C.I ammo, 40 grain bullets in both calibers.

I Think you will have to live with the differant point of impact between 22LR and 22 MAG the size of the bullet is .001 larger on the mag and the recoil is also different same as shooting 38special and 357 mag in one gun. For the cylinder if you used a wire brush on a drill you could have made condition worst try J.B. bore cleaner paste but go in and out not spining . 0
