S&W 460 in 4"
Does S&W offer a 4" version of the 460 like the 500?

Not currently. And I'm not certain they ever will as with today's powders they were still pushing the envelope with the existing barrel length, and I think that today a shorter barrel would result in loss of performance beyond what is typically seen with shorter barrel lengths.
OF course this is my opinion, which I'll stick with until someone gives me some hard data to show otherwise.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
The gain rifling likely imposes a limit on the barrel length
