45 long colt

can anyone please tell me why did taurus stop making the model 450 45 cal. long colt snub nose revolver, everyone that owned one said it was a great gun.

  i have just got a rossi 410 45 lc rifle it has a 20" barrel and need some info on reloads for the 45LC what power to use and what weight bullet to use and what kind of speed can i get with this all mt book only have loads for pistoles with short barrels thanks Bill

  Shoot the pistol loads, you don't get much hotter in that caliber than the listed Ruger loads.

  I sure wouldn't use the 'ruger only ' loads in that rifle unless Rossi says it's ok.doubtul,but I dont own one,so..
  A load of 8 gr. of Unique under a 255 cast bullet will get the targets' attention.should be about 950fps I'm guesing.
