How one extractorless 22 works

If you decide not to shoot, the slide on the top of the barrel is used to eject it.

    WoW thats a new one on me thanks for the great photos . Who made your pistol? It looks like it would cost more to make your super pistol then one with an extractor but at least this designer did it.

    You're welcome ATF. The pistol was made by Webley. They tended to over-engineer everything, but I love that kind of nuttiness.

    Ever fired a Gevarm E1, or any of their .22s that fire on the open bolt? Only three moving parts, no firing pin, no extractor. Lips of the mag act as extractor/ejector. I.ve never had a misfire. The "firing pin is a wedge milled into the face of the bolt. Therefore, DOUBLE ignition. Kinda' clever.
