I have to assume that you have a Spencer-Roper, Slide Action Shotgun
which was made by the Spencer Arms Co. Windsor, Conn.. 1886-1888...
The Spencer-Roper Gun Company was not Co-Joined with Winchester Arms...
The Book by Harold F. Williamson (WINCHESTER The Gun That Won the West)....Combat Forces Press Library of Congress Catalog No. 52-11409 Page 58-59 goes to great length to explain the Company and its holdings and separate Holdings upon desolving of all branches and the new Holdings of Mr. Spencer and Mr. Roper... It would be to long and time consuming to print both pages of said Book...My suggestion is to visit a Local Library and check out the Book in question for the History of this Company.....As for Parts....Place an ongoing Want Ad in the Forums and in different Publication's....Best......

Take note for this is fact... I rebuild old guns all the time from parts from multiple sources, I just can't bear to see the work of these old gun makers die. That being said, You cannot rebuild one of these old guns for cheaper than you can buy a complete/working gun unless you just happen to fall into it. For the maost part even if you complete the project, all you have is a wallhanger. Collects want their firearms as original a possible. So if your heart is set on this, be prepared to spend more on it than it is worth. 0
