I now know the differences tween 1100 vs 11-87. The facts I've learned here and at our range indicate the 11-87 is the obvious choice if owning only one Remmington, also it should require less cleaning. But getting a Benelli is best option.

  I own 3 model 1100's and one 11-87 and I would much rather have the 1100.

  1100 is the better built, higher grade model over the 11-87. 11-87 is the field beater.
