Tell me about my Franchi 48 AL

I bought it used today. It's in 12 guage, MOD Choke, alloy receiver with bird scenes etched. Nice wood and bluing, vent rib. Imported by FIE. Price with tax was a total of $260. What's your opinion of this shotgun and was the price OK? I bought it because it feels great, of course I expect it WILL KICK a bit.

  My buddy has one, Sounds nearly identical. I think he has a little more than that in his. Nice looking gun>

  I just sold one in 20 ga for over $400.00. It was like new of course. Very light, kicked my brains out on every shot. I can only imagine what the 12 ga will be like, but ain't she pretty??

  A very nice shotgun and you got it for a good price, but you better hide your teeth when you pull the trigger on that one[:D]
