Beretta 96 and 8040 mags..The Same?

I was wondering..Do the beretta 96 mags fit my Beretta 8040?
Perhaps someone has one, and knows one way or the other..thanks..Ted

Answer
Magazines for our full size series of pistols (92/96 and all similar models) will not fit the 8000 Cougar series of pistols.
