Getting my face slapped

I took my Beretta Silver Hawk to the range last week and shot a few rounds of skeet. The stock which is the English version, just beat the heck out of my cheek. I hate to cut it. Any ideas for a fix. Someone mentioned altering positive pitch. I am some distance away from a big city gunsmith like Brileys.
I shot this gun poorly. Shot a Browning BPS much better.

    sell the gun and get one with a pistol grip and adjustable comb. you will thank me and i wont even slap you. wear the right shoe for the dance. youre shooting skeet with a field gun.[:D]

    Bobski is right! Gun fit is the most important thing. And this stock doesn't fit you.

    I know the stock does not fit. What does the slap in the face indicate. Too long, too short, comb too high. I also use this as my field gun.

    Comb is too low, I think.

    I put a "wrapid comb" on mine. Runs about $25. No more bruising. It's just a wrap with several foam patches to raise your sight line. Works great.

    youre holding a stick to your shoulder. you want to redirect the recoil 'down' away from your face.
