1897 Winchester correct fron sling atachment

Did Winchester make one for that gun? I want something that is historicaly correct.

  Hello flyingstar...
  
  Sling loops were installed on all of the Model 1897/97 Trench Guns, and on some of the Riot Guns, but they were not installed on the standard Field grade guns (or the higher grade Trap, Skeet, etc.).

  Bert, ANy idea where I might start looking for the correct one for the riot gun? (where did it attach?) Thanks!

  I highly suggest picking up a copy of Joe Poyer's book on the Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun... it lists all of the specific data that you are looking for.
