Need more help

This guy has a Remington 150 Targetmaster barrel for sale. I have neever heard of this rifle. I emailed him thinking that it was a typo(510). He assures me that his discription is right. Has anyone heard of one of these puppies,,,

  HE HAS APPARENTLY EDDITED HIS DISCRIPTION TO M-510, AND YES YOU CAN FIRE .22 SHORTS IN A L.R. BARREL (IT'S BEEN DONE FOR THE LAST 100 YEARS OR SO). JUST CLEAN THE CHAMBER AFTERWARDS.

  Well, you can't fire LR in rifles chambered for .22 short only, but piles of rifles will shoot .22 short, long and LR without using three chambers, so I am with Mike, you can shoot shorts in LR chambers, though if semi-auto the shorts may not cycle the action well.

  Thanks Guys. The dude E-mailed me alittle while ago. After going back and checking he decided the his copy and pasting needs a little more editing. He has a Winchester 150 barrel up for sale as well. To bad I was hoping to get me a rare treasure. the 1st thing I asked was "IS this a TYPO. He said no, He was wrong.
  FYI Headspace is measured a little differently on rimfires. You measure the rim only. Therefore any rifle chambered for LR should fire L and S. Semi-autos due to there blowback design have problems cycling by the nature of their design. The exception to the rule...the Remington M-552 which has a bumper to aid in cycling the lower powered ammo.
