**Jamming problem with Bushmaster pistol**

I recently took my Bushmaster 21s pistol out for the second time since I purchased it and was shocked when I couldn't get more than 2 shots off at a time before it jammed. I shot about 200 rounds through it the first time I took it out and it only jammed about 10 times total. I put at least 300 through it this time and it literally jammed every other shot. I lubed it up properly before shooting it so I am clueless why this is happening. Come to think of it, I tried out my Beta-C on it and it would get a few more shots off before jamming (5 to 8) Could this be an ammo problem? Is there anything I can do? This is the first AR I have ever owned. I've had a couple of AK's for about 10 years now and I have never had 1 shot jam. Is this typical with AR's? PLEASE HELP!! I can't stand the thought of wasting $850!!

    First I would field strip the gun and throuroughly clean every part. I think you have to be using wolf or some type of russian made ammo.

    Carbon15? I hear they like black hills. Also what brand of ammo you using?

    THEY are particular in what they shoot,,,,mine to...DO not lube things up, graphite it a little after cleaning. My first two Carbon 15s were perfect and of course sold them. My next jammed once every mag. Love the guns but sold it for 450. to my friend who wanted to experiment to "get it right" on function. nambu
