bought a remington 7600
I thought I got a decent deal. Help me out. Remington 7600 in .270 bore and metal 95% and wood 90%. Topped with a Redfield 3x9x40 tracker and weaver mounts. Paid $400 did I do okay or did I hammer myself. As always thanks for your replies.

You see older Rem 760's sell sometimes on the auction site for as little as $175 to $250 in middlen condition often with scopes. So your 7600 in excellent condition with a decent scope for $400 sounds reasonable, not great, but not hammered either. I keep thinking that I'd like a 7600 in 35Whelen and so have been tracking the new rifles a bit. 0 -
i have to say it is a pretty decent deal, but i would have went with the 30-06 carbine. they are great brush guns. my dad has killed deer at 300+ with his 18 1/2" barrel.
When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.0
