Tanfoglio (EAA) Witness/ CZ 75 compatibility. . .

Anyone know if a CZ-75 slide will drop onto a Witness, or vice versa?

(I'm assuming the answer to that is a big fat no, but I'd like to hear from someone who actually knows!)

  Not, honestly I have both guns and not even the magazine can be interchanged. They look similar, woks similar and are very good, but the myth about interchanging parts is just that....a myth.

  Well that's not entirely true since I routinely use CZ-75 mags in my EAA witness without a hitch. (Can't say the converse is true though, and it probably really isn't true of all mags).
  
  I think the grips are interchangeable as well. *Maybe* recoil spring.
  
  But other than that? Don't know. I've been told that the hammers and sears are close. . .but I don't know what that means, and I'll be damned if I try swapping *those* parts!
