Shotgun cleaning tip needed

I've probably shot less than 300 rounds through my new over and under 12 guage, but while cleaning it I noticed streaks in the barrel that I can't seem to clean out. They seem to be located mainly in the first 7-8" after the chamber and the rest of the barrel is mirror finish when I'm through cleaning it. First I used a 12 guage "snake", pull-through cleaner. When that didn't get the streaks out, I tried a rod and brass brush soaked in Hoppe's #9, followed by pushing several dry patches through the barrel. Streaks are still there. I'm wondering if those streaks are left by the plastic wadding that holds the shot. Is there some special solvent or technique I need to use to get rid of these streaks?

    get a long cleaning rod and a bore brush and a drill and work it run it down the bore

    The fouling you see is probably plastic from the wads. Blue wonder, if you let it sit for 5-10 minutes, will take it out. Usually without much, if any, scrubbing.

    take a copper wire 12ga brush and wrap 0000 steel wool into it. it will take it out.

    I favor Blue Wonder on a bronze brush. Let it sit several minutes. Usually comes out without much scrubbing as bsally said. A bore mop will work about as well.
