HELP! TAC FULL AUTO
Good Morning,
I just have a few questions. I was under the impression that any attempts to modify your semi-auto into a automatic is illegal. With this tac full auot trigger thing that they are trying to sell seems to good to be true. Has anyone actually bought and test fired one? Thanks for the info, gentlemen.[:D]

Don't waste your money, the nice folks in here advised me against it and I wish I would have followed there advice rather than throwing away 30 bucks. Bump firing is more effective than that goofy device. 0 -
I knew it was too good to be true. They claim that it would work great with no problem. They even have a video. I guess its just a bunch of Bs. Has anyone tried this with any kind of success? Well thanks for the helpful tip GOGOLEN. Thanks again 0 -
Keep in mind, in the US any thing gun-related that even LOOKS like it is illegal can get you arrested. Law Enforcement Officers do not debate the finer points of the law with you; they just cuff you & book you. Those of us who are adults must think through the possible consequences of everything we do.

NRA........ The TAC trigger device, even though unreliable, is still not a conversion to full auto.
The gun still remains a semi-auto firearm, the TAC device just makes it shoot faster. The firing mechanism in the gun still requires a seperate pull of the trigger for each shot.

Get a trigger job done on your semi auto and learn how to bump from the shoulder. [;)]

Drobs is on the X-ring on his advice there, a well cut trigger with a short pull will shoot faster than you can control and be a lot easier to use.

Can someone explain in full details the BUMP method? Im a newbie.. Don't really know how to have a well cut trigger. Well thanks for all the helpful insights. 0 -
NRA..... I have not used the bump method myself, but I know people who are pretty good at it.
One way is to put your thumb throught the trigger guard in front of the trigger and hook it onto a belt loop on your pants. You will be holding the rifle at hip level. Move the rifle forward against your thumb until it fires. The recoil will move the gun far enough to the rear to reset the sear, and by keeping forward pressure on the gun it will continue to fire.
With some practice you can get full-auto rate of fire even thought the gun remains a semi-auto. This practice is very inaccurate so you need to make sure there is a large impact area so you dont have bullets going into unsafe areas.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if you are new to firearms and shooting you really need to stay away from junk like this. Get some proper training for saftey and basic marksmanship. The NRA or a local shooting organization can help with this (heck,I'd bet another GB member in your area would help). If you want to shoot full auto-join the Army. Otherwise just take it slow and enjoy a safe shooting experience.
