Sako follower spring modification question

Does anybody know if I can modify a follower spring to work in a Sako L579 action. I cant locate a Sako spring, so i thought I would try modifying some other brand spring, but need some advice or thoughts on where to begin. Thanks

    why not call Beretta USA and order the correct follower spring?

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
