Ar15 value help
I have a Bushmaster XM15-E2S I am looking to trade but have no idea what it is worth. I know I payed to much for it now that the ban is gone.

I just got a new Colt so I am gonna swap the Mark 4 CQ/T and 500A over and try to trade the Ar-15 for a nice 1911. I was hoping to work a trade for a CDP pro or ultra. Was hoping someone would tell me my Bushmaster would be worth $800-$900. I have over $2700 in it with the gun scope and light. Guess I am upside down again. 0 -

Oncue, the thing about selling used rifles, or for that matter anything, is that they are only worth what you have someone willing to give. Just because you have a buch of bucks invested it does not mean that you can necessarily get even half of it back in resale. The way to maximize your return would be to strip the rifle down to the basics and sell it on the GB auction site. As you would be competing against new rifle, you would have to drop your asking price 10% or 20% below theirs to get much action. Then I look to resell the accessories in seperate auctions. Like car stuff extra with rifles are considered of little to no value thus selling them else where will get you something for them as compared to possibly nada. You should be able to get the current selling price for that model Bushmaster or the current equivilant in nothing flat at the GB auction site. Good luck.... 0
