    The pic is a little dark, but "high cap" is a generic term for mags that hold more than 10 rounds. The pictured mag looks like about a 12 rounder if it is single stack, and maybe 20 rounds if a double stack mag as used in the Para pistols.

    It is not a manufacturers name. There was a federal ban on high cap mags that recently expired so people can again buy mags that hold more than 10 shells, with the exception of some states who still have their own bans in place.

    Sportsmansguide www.sportsmansguide.com carries 10 & 15 round hi-cap magazines for the Colt 1911/11A1 and all the clones. Whether they will function correctly and are reliable is another question?

    i have one of the 15 rd mags from that site. it is a piece of crap, waste of 14$


    the question is were can i getthat style "high Capacity" mag?

    i like they style, makes it look like a longer grip

    The Chip Mccormick mags are excellent. I have some of the 10 rounders pictured in the previous post, they work great.
