    There are dent removers for shotgun barrels which are expanding plugs with screw threads on the inside. You should take that picture to your local gunsmith and see if he's ever done it before.

    there is no sense in paying that much for a gun with a replaced stock barrel dents etc. the gun is not original so i dont think it should bring that kind of money.

    When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

    Im not paying anything for the gun. I dented a double almost exaclty the same and was wondering how hard it is to get out, and will it be recognizable when done. I agree though its too much for the gun.

    Have a gunsmith or someone else with a bore scope check the inside of the bore at the dent. Sometimes a crack will form where the dent in located. If so, its junk. Ran into this on an old L C Smith.
