AR-15 Pistol Parts BEST BUY????????

I am planning on building an AR-15 pistol and was wondering who to purchase my parts from. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Any and all help will be appreciated.

    If you are going to build rather than buy a complete pistol the first thing to remember is that the receiver must never been part of a built AR rifle. Many manufactures sell lowers. Everything else need not be new.

    Model 1 Sales. M & A Parts. You could also try Del-ton. Don't bother going to the big boys like DPMS, Bushmaster, etc ...... they have a bug up their butt and won't sell short barrelled kits unless you have the NFA stamp. But you probably wouldn't anyway since their prices would be too high. Good luck

    You can also check out the Olympic uppers since they dont use a buffer tube (http://www.olyarms.com/?page=m1_oa_models). This is what I have. You can get them a bit cheeper if you look arround. I paid about $700 including a lower parts set. It is built on a LAR lower.
