    I'm sorta' fishing on this one but does that not look alot like a Savage 23 or 19 NRA? Something about the shape of the forearm and the depth, top to bottom of the wrist in front of the triggerguard. Can't seem to find this on my crossovers list but SAvage made tradename guns for about everybody!

    the funny thing is i have the EXACT same towel, and I use it for the same purpose. Often ends up being my cleaning mat after a day at the range [:D]

    Joel...the books tell me you are correct...I should have seen the similarity to the Armoury model! My model 44 is hanging it's head out of shame about that mistake!! Good call.
