Trigger Job vs Action Job

What is the differance between a trigger job and an action job for a single action revolver. What are the bennefits of each and the average price for each. Just thinking of having some work on my ruger blackhawk for the fun of it.

  Well, a trigger job is just that; lightening the trigger pull by replacing a spring or two.
  An action job would require polishing several surfaces internally (inside the gun), setting sear engagement, smoothing out the trigger pull, and making sure it goes "bang" every time.
  An action job will usually cost more due to all the labor-intensive hand-stoning and polishing, plus you will pay for the expertise of the 'smith doing the job.
  You could do your own trigger job with a good look at a Wolff Spring catalog.
