COLT 1991?

Anyone have a Colt 1991 45 Government model. Good gun? Why so cheap compared to other COLT 45s ? thanks

    I have one that I bought new, have never had a problem with it and I even shoot hollow points in it without a FTF. Don't know why they were so cheap they are made by Colt no matter how you look at it, it's still a Colt. I would never sell it and have had the opportunity to dump it for other guns but never did. The only upgrade I did to it was a trigger and hammer & new set of grips to dress it up. You can find these used for $300.00 and up depending on where you live. In my opinion they may be cheaper bucause they are not hand made and fitted, using gov parts they can just slap a bunch together from the parts bins.<----Just my opinion. Buy one and find out for yourself.

    I have a 1991A1 in flat stainless. It is an excellent gun. I have never had a problem with it. It's so reliable that it's my primary home defense gun. I keep it loaded with Glaser blue tip safety slugs (the ones that break into about 200 pieces shortly after they hit something). I have shot ball, hollow point, and safety slugs out of it, and they all feed well. Hope this helps.
