looking for 8.8mm rimmed ammo

I bought an old German drilling, and this is the cartridge it takes.
The gun is marked 8, 8mm - which is the German equivelant to 8.8mm,
and it is a rimmed cartridge.
The SxS shotgun barrels are 16 gauge, 2 1/5" shells.
Everything is Krupp Fluid Steel, so it is safe to shoot.
It is all Nitro proofed.
The gun has Imperial German Eagles stamped all over, so that dates it to WWI and before.
It is a Guild built gun.

I'd like to find ammo, cases, cartridge specs, reloading data,
or any other info.

  THE 8.8mm marked on your drilling is "PROBABLY"? the BORE DIAMETER rather then the actual caliber. This was not uncommon as some of the early commercial rifles chambered for the various 8mm cartridges are proofmarked "7.8mm".
  
  Unfortunately there are a number of different rimmed German 9mm/9.3mm cartridges your Drilling could have been chambered for. Best thing to do would be to take it to a gunsmith and have him do a chamber cast. With the dimensions from the cast it can be determined which is the correct cartridge.

  Hello ammo is available or can be made for most any drilling get a chamber cast as rufe-snow suggest but what you really need to do is have the gun checked out by a drilling expert gunsmith . 16 Ga. shot guns of this age were made for roll crimped shells and just because a shell will chamber and you have steel barrels you can still get into high pressure trouble when the shell uncrimps and they contact the forceing cone.

  Hmmm . . . you put a lot more data in this post than the one on the Wants forum. I agree w/ rufe snow, your cartridge is most likely some version of 9mm. You need to ID the proper cartridge before you can go any further.
