Witness/Sphinx question.

This is a hard one. . .

Anyone know if the sights between the Sphinx and EAA/Tangfoglio Witness pistols are interchangeable?

Do you perhaps have the Sphinx ? The reason I ask is, I have a couple of rear sights from a tanfoglio Whitness laying around. If needed I could give dovetail measurements to you.

Thanks Mark. Nice Bren-Ten look on that Sphinx!

The question is because I wanted to put in some adjustable sights on my Witness, and I saw some Sphinx sights for sale. Was wondering if they might work.

(The laws of reality dictating that of course sights for a specialty Swiss pistol aren't going to fit on a popular and common Italian gun!).

The dovetail measurements on the EAA Witness, by the way, are .338 wide, .313 high. Same height as the newer CZ-75/85 sights, only different width and not compatible there either.

One the other hand, the older CZ-85 sights are .322 high and .348 wide, which is pretty close. I'd guess it probably wouldn't be all that hard to grind them down to fit.
