Looking at a Winchester Model 70 in 225 Win. A good 90% with and old Weaver K-10 scope. Are these scarce? Fair price. "Thanks" VGUN1

The last one I saw around here went for $500. I can't remember if it had a scope on it or not but it was about a year ago. Unfortunately I didn't buy it.

These guns have gone up in value geometrically in the last year. It's hard to say why, but my pet theory is because it's MY favorite cartridge it will cost me too much to collect them anymore! Seriously though, they are becomming collectable to the point that I saw one last month not meet it's reserve at $1200! If it is under about $800 (and in excellent condition), jump quick!
