Ithaca 37 Ultra featherweight ?

Hi, How many were made in 20 gauge with the English stock? What would it be worth in 95% condition.

    I'm not sure on values of much of anything; but I recall seeing several 20 ga Ithacas set up for slugs, so I'm not sure that it would be particularly rare.

    Hi, this is the ultra featherweight. Not the standard featherweight model. It was only made 4 years, so I thought is might be kind of rare plus this one is an English stock, so I wasn't sure.

    All ultra featherlites are all 20Ga as far as I can tell, the english stock does do much for the value... $350...

    If it had the red Sid Bell grip cap and a regular stock, it would be the Ultra Featherweight and worth at least $550.

    From what I seen in the books they made the ultra with both styles of stocks. The serial number starts with ult. So I'm sure it's an ultra model.

    Are you looking at the ultralite or the Ultra Featherlite.
    They are two different guns?

    Hi, well the barrel is marked model 37-ultrafeatherlight. The book I was looking at states Ithaca 37 English ultra. Same general specs. as the Ultralite except the English stock. Then at the Model 37 Ultralite it sates same general specs. as the Featherlight except for the forend, gold trigger and Sid Bell grip cap. This is why I assumed the the Model 37 English Ultra and the Model 37 Ultralite where the same except for the style of stock?

    The Ultralite is a newer gun made in the mid 80's... The ultra featherlight is older and only weighs in at 4.75lbs this is a very light gun. The ultra itself is very light but weighs 5.5 lbs. Both were available in the english verions. The newer is a little more valuable (10% more) why I don't know. The Ultra Featherlight is 20ga only. the Ultralite is 12 or 20 ga. While I wouldn't think of taking one that is super nice like yours out in the woods, this has alway been my choice of guns to carry on a all day rabbit hunting trip. You hardly notice the weight of these puppies even after long hrs of carrying it.

    The biggest difference between the two is that the older model had an aluminum receiver. I have also seen this as a model 87 (20 guage) as well. Last one I saw they wanted $500 for and I thought the guy was crazy---that was about ten years and 40 to 50 gunshows ago. I haven't seen one since.Old or new !
