Another collector cartridge??

Found another box of odd cartridges while cleaning up.

Box of 50 .22 short blank cartridges
Manufactured by the Western Cartridge Co.
East A;ton. Ill.
Loaded with a special grade of powder giving the loudest possible report.

What collector value if any?

  It will depend mightily on (a) the era / design of the box & (b) the condition. That might seem axiomatic, but blank cartridges tend to be the Rodney Dangerfields of collector ammo, at least those in common calibers for track guns, dog training or whatever.
