Selling ammo on Gunbroker.com
Can anyone tell me how to sell ammo and be legally correct? Everyone seems to have different ideas on their auctions. Or is there somewhere I can go here on this site?

If you manufacture enough of it (reloading) the ATF might tell you to get a license. I believe it is a class of FFL license. The guy I do transfers through started out doing this, and got the license when told. He eventually for the Class 3 also.
You ship ground. Most of my ammo arrives via Fed Ex Ground. You put a sticker or label on it reading "ORM-D", just like you see on cases of some aerosol products.

What does auction need to say as to not be liable for selling to a "wrong" person or area? 0 -
I'm by no means a Legal Expert but I've been selling ammo on this site for some time now and this is what I put, you must be 18 to buy rifle ammo and 21 for handgun ammo I will not sell where prohibited. Its up to the buyer to figure out if its legal for them to purchase it as state laws vary. Then I'll have them send a copy of there I.D or Firearms card. 0 -
