Remington barrel markings ???

I am looking at an auction on Gun Broker that list a Rem. 700 BDL with barrel markings of: left rear 9RP and right rear R.E.P. Do these markings mean anything out of the ordinary or are they just standard Rem. markings?

  REP=Remington English Proof
  9RP is a daate code which has been explained on this site many times but I don't remember it.
