Old revolver in .32-20
I recently acquired what seems to be an old double action revolver in .32-20. I don't know what it is. The only marking is on the barrel and it is "Crucero". 32-20 caliber is stamped below the cylinder. It is in "fair to good" condition. Anyone have an idea about what it might be?

Sounds like one of the many Spanish copies out there.Have a gunsmith look it over before shooting it. 0 -
I agree. Most likely a Spanish copy of a turn-of-the-century Smith or Colt revolver.
If you plan on firing it, by all means have it checked out by a gunsmith.....and make sure to use .32-20 rounds made for handguns (not rifles).

Thanks guys. I won't shoot it until I have it checked. Had figured on loading some minimal loads for it if it was shootable. I paid $45. for it so I had no illusions about it. Couldn't pass it up at that price but had no idea about what I was going to do with it. 0 -
Great reason to begin reloading.
