The Mashburn Bee is an improved version named for A.E.Mashburn. Cases are made by fire-forming factory ammo. The Mashburn has improved ballistics over the factory round,giving about the same velocity with a 55gr bullet as the factory does with a 45gr. It was very popular until the 222Rem was developed and is a very accurate varmint cartridge. Recommended powders are IMR 4198 and IMR 4227. Source:Cartridges Of The World.

what action do you have i worked in gun shop in texas in the 60's we made 218 masburn bee's on martini action and douglas barrels they would shoot 3 shot groups you could cover with a dime.tks hedge0
