Hornady SST vs Nosler Ballistic Tips
Just bought a box of SST and BT. 140gr BT and 154 SST. Gonna try the 140 in my 280 and 154 in both the 280 and 7mm Mag. Anybody try either combo? Gonna use IMR 4350 and Reloader 19 or 22. Lets hear how they work!

I HAVE A CUSTOM BUILT 7MM STW THAT I HAD BUILT BEFORE ONE COULD BUY ONE. WITH 80.1 GR. OF RE.22 I CAN GET 3500 FPS WITH THE NOSLER 140BT.THIS IS OVER MY CHRONOGRAPH. I HAVE YET TO RECOVER A BULLET. TAKEN WHITETAIL FROM 60-301 YDS. I HAVE TO TELL YOU IT BODY SLAMS THEM. I KNOW THIS BULLET WORKS. MY 2 CENTS 0 -
I load both in 150 grain in my 30-06 using IMR3031. Both seem to be equally accurate in my gun. Have not had the chance to use the SST on a deer, but I am sure it will be fine. Supposed to hold together a little better at close range. The BTs will fragment at high impact speeds, but we have never lost an animal using them. Shot a doe head on with a BT at about 20 yards, guess she didn't see me against that tree[:D]. Nothing left of the bullet, but nothing left of her heart either.[:D]

I've used the BT's in my 7X57 I like them a lot. Never tried the 154's. They are a little heavy for my hunting 7mm and my target 7mm likes the 160'-168's -Good luck
