Vent rib question

About how much would it cost to have one attached to a plain barrel? I just got a Sagave 720 with a plain barrel but I have never shot well with plain barrels and would like a rib. Does anyone know where I could send one out to a place that does a good job.

    Yeah I know but its got sentimental value since it was one of the dew things my Grandfather left to me. Otherwise I would just get another A5

    Good morning Wehrmacht_45: Both Simmons and Money Maker ribs are expensive. You might look at www.PolyChoke.com they have a rib that cost about half and would be fine for the occasional shooter like you have.

    do all 3 still use glue to put them on or do any of them use solder?

    Hi Bob: Simmons never used "glue" they braze, and I believe Money Maker either brazes or solders. Originally Poly choke used a special epoxy. I do not know what they use today. The only rason I recommended it, is the gun was going to be used occassionally and a Poly choke rib has no receiver ramp, like the other two.
