Remington model 14.5

I've been looking for a Rem Model 14.5 in 44/40. Can't seem to find any on the web. Anyone?

  I've heard of the 14 and the 141 but have no clue about the 14.5? That kinda' sounds like a Sears tradename gun refference, but again, I don't really know. The caliber sound's odd and I would assume whatever you have it's old. Give us more info and maybe we can help.

  the 14 1/2 was made from 1913-1934 cal. 38-40 44-40 tks hedge

  Well after checking it seems that there is a Remington 14 1/2, if I ever saw one, I assume that I mistakely thought it was a modle 14. I too searched the web for about an hr... not a thing. But I will keep an eye open at the upcoming ohio gunshows for one and maybe I can hook you up with someone.

  Thanks again, mates. There is definately a 14 and1/2. I was hoping to find some current data on prices or availability. I have Fjelstad's etc. but it sure seems like a hard one to find. I'll be back with some news in 24 hours.cheers,plads

  I had one about 5 years ago in 90% condition. It had a thumb nail safety. If I remember correctly, I got $600 for it from a dealer.
