P14 & P17 Eddystone Stocks ?
A question for the experts:
Are the Eddystone P-14 & P-17 military issue stocks interchangeable?
I have the a P-14 .303 barreled receiver but can only find decent condition "issue" stocks in the 30-06 P-17. Just restoring a reasonable representation of the original for a shooter and a poor man's collector's piece.

your barreled action will fit in the m-1917 stock (may need a little fitting) but there are differences in the stock (the p-14 has a 'volley' sight fitting on the left side). 0 -
Try Springfield Sporters if you have not already. They have lots of odds and ends. Still looking for the volley sight set-up for my P-14 since they were out at Numrich the last time I looked. Come to think of it, if you go to www.e-gunparts.com, I believe they have a schematic for the P-14/17...might be of some help.
